Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking or attending any of our baby classes or events. By booking a session, you agree to the following terms:
1. Supervision and Responsibility
- All children attending Stay and Play Ayr must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
- Parents/carers are fully responsible for their child’s safety, behaviour, and well-being throughout the duration of all sessions.
- Staff and facilitators at Stay and Play Ayr are not responsible for supervising or caring for any child during classes unless otherwise stated in the description of a specific event.
2. Safety and Use of Materials
- The environment at Stay and Play Ayr has been carefully designed with young children in mind, however, constant adult supervision is required to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
- Sensory objects and resources used during sessions are not toys, unless otherwise specified in sessions such as Messy Play or similar.
- Unless attending a class where mouthing is explicitly allowed, children must be discouraged from mouthing any objects or materials. Parents/carers are expected to actively supervise and intervene if mouthing occurs.
- Any allergies, medical conditions, or specific needs must be disclosed at the time of booking.
3. Health and Attendance
- Please do not attend if your child is unwell, especially with contagious symptoms (e.g., vomiting, diarrhoea, fever).
- If a child becomes unwell during a session, we may ask the parent/carer to leave for the safety of others.
4. Cancellation Policy
- We operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy.
- If you cancel within 24 hours of the class/event start time, no refund or credit will be given.
- If cancellation is made more than 24 hours in advance, you may receive a refund or credit at our discretion.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to stayandplayayr@hotmail.com or via Facebook Messenger.
5. Bookings and Payments
- All classes and events must be booked in advance.
- Bookings are non-transferable unless approved by management.
- Payments must be made at the time of booking to secure your space.
6. Changes and Cancellations by Us
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, venue issues).
- In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund.
7. Photography and Media
- From time to time, we may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. Consent will always be requested before any media is used publicly.
- Parents/carers may take photos of their own child but must respect the privacy of others.
8. General Behaviour
- We maintain a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment. Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in being asked to leave the session, without refund.
